Implement and maintain the company safety management system including the management plan, safety standards, policies and procedures, and maintain up-to-date documentation and records;
Developing the company safety standards, guidelines and acceptance criteria, and inspection checklists;
Plan and conduct the internal safety audit, site inspection and training; review on all kinds of safety-related issues for continuous improvement;
Monitor the progress to ensure timely completion of any safety issue defined during the safety check and inspection;
Perform external inspection and visit on suppliers & sub-contractors to ensure the compliance with the company safety standards and statutory requirements on occupational safety and health;
On behalf of the company to attend all OHS legal cases & safety meetings if necessary;
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Degree holders in Safety Management or construction-related discipline
Registered Safety Officer from Labour Department, RSA is an advantage.
Safe Working Cycle and Safety Trainer Certificate issued by recognized institutions;
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in site safety in the construction industry;
Proficient in reporting and presentation skills and fluent in English and Chinese;
Self-motivated, proactive,strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure;
Candidates with more experience will be considered as the Senior Safety Officer.
