For over 70 years, we have been playing a vital role in shaping the iconic skyline of Hong Kong, mainland China and Southeast Asia through comprehensive construction, engineering, and property services.
1940
Our story began in 1946, when our founder Mr Paul Y. Tso started Paul Y. Construction Co. in Shanghai.
Having completed a number of significant projects including the Lunghwa Airport and the Stock Exchange Building, we moved our operations to Hong Kong in 1949.
1950
Our operation in Hong Kong started to take off with our participation in many major government projects.
Including the landmark Central Government Offices.
1960
Riding on the tide of the city's glamorous development, the Group undertook construction of iconic landmarks.
Including Hilton Hong Kong and Shek Pik Reservoir.
1970
We participated in building transport infrastructure projects.
Including the Hong Kong Cross Harbour Tunnel, the Mass Transit Railway and the Kai Tak Airport Runway extension.
1980
We participated in the Dongjiang Water Supply Scheme and Yuen Long Sewage Treatment Works.

We delivered the Hong Kong Club in 1984.

1990
1990-1994
We became involved in key transportation infrastructures, including Central-Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System, one of the longest outdoor escalator systems in the world.
1995-1999
We participated in construction of the Ting Kau Bridge, Airfield Works and Super Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport. We extended our works into building high-rise Grade A office buildings, including The Center and Cheung Kong Center.
2000
2000-2004

We undertook construction of the office towers and Bel-Air Residences of Cyberport, a comprehensive community development project initiated by the Hong Kong Government to boost information technology in Hong Kong.

We continued to expand our footprint by opening our new office in Macau.

2005-2009

We participated in a wide range of projects, including Lamma Power Station Extension Project and Express Rail Link – West Kowloon Terminus Station South. 

 

2010
2010-2014

We were actively involved in the development of multiple green projects, including the teaching and research hotel, Hotel Icon, the revitalisation of Mong Kok Stadium and the building of Tuen Mun North West Swimming Pool.

 

2015-2019

We participated in and delivered several significant projects in both private and public sectors, including the Kennedy Town Swimming Pool, The Hong Kong Jockey Club University of Chicago Academic Complex | The University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus, The Mills in Hong Kong, and Studio City in Macau, the largest project we have ever undertaken in Macau.

We have been partnering with XenseTech since 2019 to further expedite our research and development of construction technologies.

2020

We undertook two pioneering Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) projects – the Sai Kung Temporary Quarantine Facilities and the Student Residence of The University of Hong Kong at Police School Road, Wong Chuk Hang, which was awarded the inaugural green loan from The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited.

 

2021

We continue to embrace innovation and are actively involved in the development of sustainable engineering projects, including Yuen Long Effluent Polishing Plant, Additional District Cooling System at the Kai Tak Development, Construction of Grey Water Treatment Plant for Anderson Road Quarry Development.
