Hotel ICON was conceived as a teaching and research hotel for the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The project included general fitting out of 15 storeys of lift lobby and guestroom floors and a total of 262 guestrooms ranging from 36 to 80 square metres in size.
